Let’s talk about how I can create you a beautiful and lasting piece of art to be cherished for years. I charge for commission work based on the size and the complexity of the piece as well as other considerations such as whether you’d like your piece drawn in black and white or colored pencil, framed, etc. - the possibilities are endless. Bottom line is that there are a lot of variables that go into pricing original commission piece and it’s helpful to have a conversation around what you’re after. It usually takes a couple of back and forth emails and sharing some sketches before settling on a final layout. My baseline fee for unframed work starts at $50 per inch of drawing (measured along the longest dimension of the drawing). For example, an original commission of an 8” x 10” drawing would start at $500. I honor all coupon codes on commission work.
